1. Membership Eligibility

• Membership is strictly limited to residents of Varanasi city, Uttar Pradesh, India.
• Eligible members include:
  • Non-government employees
  • Small business owners
  • Self-employed individuals
  • Skilled workers (e.g., plumbers, barbers, electricians, painters, carpenters, etc.)
• Applicants must be 18 years or older and provide accurate personal and nominee details during registration.

2. Membership Fee

• A non-refundable membership fee of ₹100 is required for a 1-year membership.
• Payments must be made through our secure online payment gateway (Razorpay).
• This fee helps cover administrative and operational costs.

3. Non-Refundable Policy

• All membership payments are strictly non-refundable.
• No refunds will be issued in cases of withdrawal, disqualification, or death.
• Duplicate payments may be reviewed case-by-case, but refunds are not guaranteed.

4. Member Support System (In Case of Death)

• If a registered member passes away, all active members agree to contribute a predetermined support amount directly to the nominee’s bank account.
• Required documents for nominee payout:
  • Valid death certificate
  • Proof of identity for the nominee
• HHVNS facilitates coordination but is not liable for payment failures by individual members.

5. Payment Gateway – Razorpay

• All payments are processed through Razorpay, a trusted and secure third-party payment provider.
• By paying through Razorpay, you also agree to their terms of service and privacy policy.
• HHVNS is not responsible for Razorpay’s technical or operational issues.

6. Member Responsibilities

• Members must ensure all provided details (including nominee bank information) are accurate and kept up to date.
• Membership will be canceled without refund if:
  • The member is found to be a government employee
  • The member resides outside Varanasi
  • False or misleading information is provided
  • Involvement in activities against the society (HHVNS (Helping Hands VNS)

7. Privacy and Data Protection

• HHVNS collects and stores personal data for internal use only.
• Your data will not be shared with third parties without your consent, except where required by law.

8. Amendments

• HHVNS reserves the right to amend these Terms & Conditions at any time without prior notice.
• Continued membership implies acceptance of updated terms.
